Welcome to Star Fire Ranch! Concentrating on sons and grandsons of the
incomparable Orion Light Vant Huttenest-sire of 37 National AMHA
Champions. We specialize in Champion bred miniature horses especially
really good appaloosas w/ arabian type heads, long thin well set necks,
soundness and good temperaments based on 1st and 2nd generation sons and
daughters of Orion Light Vant Huttenest-the greatest sire in the breed
with 37 AMHA Grand National Champions-thru his sons (full brothers!)
Yashica Vant Huttenest and Brewers Orion Spectacular (who was sold to
Mexico for a very large sum of money).- We have 2 Yashica appaloosa
daughters, 2 Yashica appaloosa sons, and two loud appaloosa Spectacular
grand-daughters.Orion Light has consistently produced the long thin
necks and arabian-type heads- so much sought after!! |

We also have 3 pintos-all Fallen Ash breeding and concentrating on
the now deceased and very impressive Orion Light son-L&D Scout, sire of
many Fallen Ash Natl. Ch that we are considering selling so we can
concentrate on a few top appys.
In both champion horses and dogs, it's hard to beat the excellence of
some of the foundation stock and I don*t have to paint my own
picture-its enough challenge just to preserve the best of the past. As
we have been too successful in our collecting and have some foals coming
we are considering parting with some of these. I am now 72 and have
spent a life dealing with serious health problems ,that have taken their
toll- and find good reliable help much harder to come by in Texas than
where I came from. So this is a good time to share some of our well
thought out purchases and breeding success with Miniature people who can
appreciate this quality-so we are offering some of our best for sale. If
